Meet the Melody for Peace Team

With a family history rich in classical music, our violinist Sally Ghazali has been playing the violin since she was 7 years old. Her path towards classical music started in The Music and Ballet School in Iraq, Baghdad. She was a member of the Open Jordanian Youth Orchestra in Amman performing in many concerts there with attendance of her highness Queen Rania and princess Basma Bint Talal. After moving to the States, she performed at The World Refugee Day event in 2013, and the 50th celebration of The Community Action Partnership of San Diego in 2014. he later performed with Valhalla High School orchestra, The District orchestra, and currently a member of the Grossmont Symphony Orchestra.

Our Pianist is Samara Alghazali. Sally Alghazali's sibling. this young talent attended The Music and Ballet School of Baghdad where she learned to play the piano of a young age and performed alongside her sister in most of the events as the Alghazali band.

Our dancer for Melody For Peace, Isabel Gabrail began to dance when she was three years old at Ariel's Dance Studio. Ever since then, she fell in love with the art of dancing. Performing ballet, tap, and jazz was one thing no one could take away from her. She danced all four years in highschool, with the last two years on Rancho Buena Vista's dance team.

Meet the Co-Founders of melody for peace ... We are all college students with ages ranged from 18 to 21. We all come from different backgrounds and religions. However, we have one important thing in common which is the love for world peace, and the love for our country.

Ghada Alsudany is majoring in Chemistry and hoping to pursue a career in the medical field.

Shams AlQess is majoring in Biochemistry, hoping to be a pharmacist in the future.

Lara Alisso and Athra Alkhuree are both majoring in civil engineering.
